Hellen
Magoi
Partner
Hellen has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations from diverse multicultural backgrounds, including survivors of torture and trauma, refugees, and victims of domestic and family violence. Her professional expertise in social work, combined with her leadership experience abroad, is further enriched by her lived experiences as an immigrant and mother. These experiences profoundly shape her perspective and provide her with unique insights into the challenges faced by marginalized individuals and communities. These insights have ignited Hellen’s passion for empowering her community, particularly its youth. She is dedicated to creating opportunities, fostering resilience, and advocating for equitable support systems. This commitment is reflected in her PhD research, which examines the challenges and opportunities Afro-diaspora youth face within educational systems. Her work is guided by a strong belief in the potential of young people to shape a brighter future when equipped with compassionate support, inclusive interventions, and equitable access to education and resources.
